I got got curoius and wanted to ask which one is your favorite final fantasy game? Mines is Crisis core because it tells the story before Final fantasy 7 and with a great story line about a young SOLDIER member called Zack and how he wanted to be a hero. But he had a tragic death which causes Cloud to get revenge on Shinra.

Well for starters, I never played FF7 so I cant say that :P

Final fantasy 3 DS was good..

However, my Fav FF game would have to be final fantasy tactics advance. That game was just amazing. I played through all 300 missions.

1) FFX
2) FFVII
3) FFIX
4) FFIV

That's all I own, though. I played and beat X and VII, haven't beaten IX, and haven't played IV (IV and Chrono Trigger were ported to the PS1 on the same disk, so I bought it for Chrono Trigger). I couldn't get into IX, but I'll try to play it again sometime. I loved X and its battle system. I initially hated the VII battle system, and it took a long time for it to grow on me, but it was fun too.

Other than that they haven't really appealed all that much to me. I own almost all of em, but... I just couldn't get into em.

Especially FFXII that game was such a letdown. Who the hell uses a MMO style battle system in a single player game?

It had the most mature storyline during those parts in my opinion. Then there's like no specialties in the end. EVERYONE is good at EVERYTHING.

FF8 was great, the characters were solid, the storyline made somewhat sense ( a rare quality for final fantasy ), the gameplay was what you expect demand from final fantasy, but the ending was a serious disappointment

Final Fantasy VI is still the best in IMO, it still holds up as a very good game even today.

Eight was good , because Gilgamesh was in it. Every Final Fantasy game could use more Gilgamesh. He's really the only reason to play V and XII, I declare him the king of lols.

Final Fantasy Seven is not only the most overrated RPG, but the most overrated game ever. Square should have stopped after Advent Children.
