An nVidia 7300 GT Agp. I know it is a low end card but can it run at least medium at a low resolution?

Also, I have an ATi X800 right now and when I am playing all my controls would lock up except mouse, and I would keep moving the direction I was moving and it goes on for a second or two. Why?

No, the game is more demanding that you think. If you want to have decent framerates on that card, just play on low. I would wait until Crysis warhead in Fall comes out and see if the new optimization Crytek promised works.

Will I at least get shadows? My X800 doesn't have shadows or reflections, I don't want to run it all out medium, just reflections, shadows, and refraction. That's it.

An X800 should outpreform the 7300.

Overclock. Go for the 8800 :P

Yeah a 7300 can run at the settings you want and get like 5 fps maybe.

Too bad you're on AGP though; Newegg had an 8800 GS going for 65 dollars and those play 1024x768 all high very well...

sadly Im still one of them :-\ Never buy a ati card by Visiontek btw, my hd2400 pro factory OC can suck balls at times, but I got it for 25 bucks new and works decently.

What joke? PCI-E, PCI and AGP have been compatible from the beginning. IDGI.

FTFY.

AGP has been blown off a lot of times by graphics card manufacturers, I don't get the joke but all I know from the experience with this computer AGP can be sometimes real bitchy to get working, whether it be newer drivers or just it doesn't want to work correctly. <> This one is raising its arms about to smash the keyboard, not putting its hands on its waist.

Installing Ubuntu right now, I'm sick of windows spewing mindless gallons of dhiarea out of every socket and jack there is.

Crysis works awsome with a radeon x1950 pro. Its an AGP card and i can run crysis on medium at 25-30 fps but the frames drop bad when you fight a whole bunch on guys. The card costs like 300 dollors but it can run most games like a charm.

You can probably get that card for 60 bucks now.

What, were you expecting it to run well on a 7800 GTX? (according to your specs)

You're stuck with a mix of medium and low...

Maybe you need to update your graphic drivers.

How good would a 9600GT run?

Similar to an 8800GT, which is decent. You won't be running very high preset over 1280x1024 though.

My 8800GT defaults to medium, but gives me 70+ fps with all high settings.
