A While back i wrote a server queryer and monitor for my halo servers, today i got bored and revamped it to add some stuff.

Downloads:

(Installer) http://vivid-abstractions.net/downloads/Qinstallv0.5.exe
(Zipped) http://vivid-abstractions.net/downloads/GSQueryer.zip

both include my extended VB6 Runtime files (installer installs them for you, you will have to do it manually with the zip)

Enjoy!

XFire is capable of this as well as tracking your friends online, and someone else had made an app called HaloSpyCE a long time ago that was basically the same thing.

In my opinion, in its current state, this isn't really useful.

Maybe if you take this and turn it into a sidebar widget or something, it would be a bit more useful.

It looks cool, I'm sure I'd use it occasionally. You add individual servers to it, and it tells you their current status, right? Kind of like a favorites list on xfire.

IAWTP. I could never get HaloSpyCE to work.

hi! nice little utility :D I was previously using HaloSpyCE to do the same thing, but I like this one better so far.

Is this something that's 'final' or do you plan to add a few more things to it? I'd like to see it have the ability to browse the master server list as well. As someone pointed out, xfire already has some of the features of this utility built in, but not everyone like using that program. <_<

Regardless though, Thanks for the release. :iia:

No this wont be final, and i might add a master list browser but that is overall pretty hard, all handshakes and stuff, but we will see.

Thanks for the positive post!
