Wet Dunes Is a ClassicMultiplayer map for Halo Custom Edition. Its Theme is Beach\ Under Water. Wet Dunes is a medium sized island that is known for getting bad storms during a specific time of the season. Research shows that the Island used to be over 20 times the size then it is today, they also think it was used while the Silent Cartographer was in development by the forerunners.

Game types: All except Oddball
Recommendation: CTF 14 players
Map Size: medium-large

I'm not a big fan of the structures, but it looks like a pretty well made map.

Is it me or is there a weird UV'd box thing right there?

It's too plain for my tastes, more used to the over detailed forerunner look.

its not badly uved, i added that extra map in there to give it the holograph look

Looks good at high resolution, awesome map ^^ Waiting to play online with someone!
I like the Wind Waker theme and the tower reminds me of the game itself.

Yeah killa how did you do the underwater stuff. Atmospheric fog? Modified glass shader? fog planes?

fly outside the tunnels with devmode. He just made a big sphere around the terrain with a blue bitmap, and had blue glass just behind the glass inside the tunnels.

The problem I have with the map is that when I try to use a Banshee to get to the higher tower, my computer goes black (could be my driver like always). I don't know if anyone has said anything like that, just thought I'd give my input. Other than that, map looks good.

When we had our beta testing for the final build, none of us had that problem

It was my driver. I fixed it. No problem now. Great map, but I wish the Tower had more elaborate structures within it...or a bigger room.

lawl'd at wind waker son on balcony, how did you get the fuel rod bridge trap to synch?

also, someone should throw this on their dedi server, be good to play this with people

all the forerunner structure textures are just halo 1 textures, besides the glass and holograms, nature ones are custom
