Never thought about it before but the comics I create is a type of art, so I guess I'll show them off. I started drawing them when I was bored during my breaks between classes. Some of them are dumb, but some are pretty good so I've been told. I'm not looking for ridiculous criticism, I'll take a little bit of it, but I really don't want criticism as if I were modeling. I draw what I want in any style I want, I don't care obviously, I mean I use stick figures. lol It's more the idea that I care about.

So with that rant out of the way, I'll get to posting. I have like 40 of them right now so I'll just post the most recent/favorite ones. If you would like to see the rest you can catch them on my blog (http://gamerkd17.blogspot.com/) or in my album.

A couple funny ones, good job. I especially like number 18, it pretty much sums up the seasons here in Florida.

I made a present for a friend of mine, which is the reason this is probably the only comic that has hair and glasses on the stick figure, but I guess it can also double as a Christmas Comic.

Around the holidays you always see the so common happiness and joy in everything, so here's something out of the ordinary. Enjoy. Happy Holidays.http://img378.imageshack.us/img378/7189/xmas2008pb7.jpg
It's only a joke. A hyperbole Inspired by one of my friends.

The Fringe one has got to be my favorite, always thought it was weird how they did the locations like that.

To be honest, I don't see anything of substance in your comics. It's just another stick figure cartoon that any ordinary Joe could have drawn. Design characters man, not only would it make the comic more interesting, but it would add to the funny-factor, as actually characters have personality and can be developed upon. You don't even need recurring characters, just.. people (or animals/aliens/whatever floats your boat) of some kind with personality..

Just my 2¢, just passing on what I have learned from my dad who is a professional cartoonist.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I too wanted to put some personalities and various characters into my comics, maybe even get a real name for the series. It certainly would have helped with the prank war going on back and forth between those two. The problem is they're just stick figures, how am I supposed to make them look different? I could add clothes, but I think that would be weird on a stick figure. And i'm not going to change my style and upgrade to actual people with skin and everything. Tried that once (http://gamerkd17.blogspot.com/2008/08/comic-26-and-comic-265.html), it was a nightmare. I don't know, but I was thinking of trying something like that when the new year rolls around.

I actually base my comics off XKCD's style. That's where I got the idea. But then again, even their characters have some personalities too. Thanks for the advice. I'll try it out sometime.

even something in the style of cyanide and happiness with some more development would work out.

The seasons one was the best, because its so damn true lol.

Like Reaper said, you need to build up characters for the comics to have any real series, otherwise its just a bunch of random people doing random things, that can be good, but a bit too random at times.

I suggest you give it a shot at designing some characters, giving them names etc.

The problem with stick men comics, is the humor needs to be 100% perfect to pull it off.

the seasons one made me laugh a bit, some of them i didnt get but overall its decent I think.

Your gonna get mixed results if were critiquing the humor, everyones sense of humor is different ranging from shitty (hard to make laugh) to good, or hyper sensitive (you can say poop or pudding and they'll bust out laughing).

As for the art... uh stickfigures, nothing more to critique really, oh I liked the movie projection one too.

On the movie projection one when they stared at the guy, each had a wtf r u talking about expression that made me lol. I think you can pull it off if you raise the comedy to the next levels.

Ok, it actually has been a while since I've updated. Since then I made 8 or 9 new ones. I took some people's ideas and created characters - Joey, Dan, and Katie. Now from Comic #44 and on I have been using them instead of random stick figures. I also gave the series a name: Absent-Minded. So anyway, here's the ones I created since my last update. I think they are better than before and I've gotten a lot of positive feedback on them. What do you think?

This is why my C++ teacher takes down his lecture notes every semester and trickles them back onto his website as the class progresses. Basically he just reads his own lecture notes back to us.

My health and wellness teacher did this. He was also the only one out of 3 teachers that took it seriously.

Thankfully he either pretended to be or was completely oblivious. I got many homework assignments done in that class.

The others, tbh, were not that funny. Dig a bit deeper and find something that you find to be truley stupid and make fun of it.

For example:

Just unique experiences. This is a 2 minute comic about my most memorable/awkward experience in Health and Wellness. The nun was a biology teacher at the school, and it was awkward as all hell.

I guess we have different comedy styles then. I've had some people say it's not really funny, kinda dumb and others who have said it's hilarious and that I should actually make them into a little book (which I'm considering doing). I guess it all depends on the person. I try to go more for logic with my ideas than stupidity, so I'd rather have it based off of tech/geek/everyday situations. Thanks for the crit though. :)

Finally created a new comic. It's a baww one, but oh well.

You have no idea how many times I have contemplated chaos theory. If changing one thing in the past could really make your life a little bit better than it is now. Would it make things worse? Would you lose something valuable? Or would it give you the thing that you want the most? Tricky subject. Well...emo moment aside here's part two of the Time Travel sequence. It took me a while to finish this one and believe me...some PEOPLE have really bugged me about finishing this. lol Hope you're happy. Don't read too much into it.

Phew, so glad that one is done. This is the only comic that took more than one day. I must have spent a total of 10-12 hours on this and I felt like I couldn't continue until i finished this one. Hopefully there won't be a month and half wait next time.

If you don't understand, you should know that this comic (http://gamerkd17.blogspot.com/2008/11/comic-35.html) introduced it in a way. Future Dan is coming back to the past to stop himself from ever meeting the girl who would eventually break his heart, thus changing the time line. Personally I don't think this is the best option. I think that even if there is bad, there is no reason to throw it away because then you also lose the good. And that never seems worth it.http://img44.imageshack.us/img44/880/am010.jpg
