That's quite interesting, but no. Maybe just an icon next to the AIM / MSN icons...

Maybe incorporate those features into a drop-down from the icon.

also, we still don't have one for gamertags. If the admins approve of these, I can whip up an icon for that too

I was looking into APIs for Steam and XFire so online/game status could be shown like that. The gamercard API, on the other hand, is private; you need to be a Microsoft Community Developer to get the Gamercard API and use it.

They don't need to be anything special, just have them display the gamertag and xfire profile we have in our profiles under "edit your details"

Yeah, I had been using a site that offers prefab'd Gamercards, as well as the stock xfire image you can hotlink. I was looking for an API so our images would be self-contained, so they could be styled to match our themes better.

Why not just do this in your signature?

not everyone wants that in their signature

I was using it as an example and a reference, lol

I know, I'm just saying we shouldn't leave it at putting a picture in your signature because it's not going to be an option for everyone. There should be something more integrated.

I like con's idea, as long as the colors are changed to the nice light blues that are already present with the other icons :)

Well, that's fine, except that the average moran doesn't know a STEAMID from a Steam ID.
