Hey guys, for those of you who still play Halo 2, I took this map off the shelf and dusted it off. I'm sorry for the huge delay in releasing, it's surprising what school will do. I did, however, get to work around some major glitches.

*ATTENTION* There are two versions of the map floating around H2V, if you attempt to join a game running Glass Horizon and it asks you to download, cancel and inform the server host that they are running a beta version. Thanks.

Download (http://www.filehosting.org/file/details/44212/Glass_Horizon.zip) & Enjoy :D

Story:

Just before the attack on Harvest, the Glass Horizon, the largest passenger ship ever built, left Earth's atmosphere with over a hundred thousand people on board. Their goal was to settle nearby worlds to expand humanity's territory and relieve the overpopulation that plagued Earth's inhabitants. The Glass Horizon was not overly grandiose, but was suitable for supporting large numbers of people for long periods of time, until a permanent world could be found.

For a while the ship moved from planet to planet, sending messages to home and leaving traces of its passing. Then, however, all contact was lost. Search parties were sent out to try to find where it had gone, but to no avail. Soon after, Harvest fell to the Covenant, and all efforts were shifted to defend humanity.

A few months ago the ship drifted into the Sol system, and a team of specialists was sent in to investigate. Not a soul could be found on board. Everything was still functioning, but the ship was adrift. Even now an investigation is being run to try to solve the mystery of the Glass Horizon.

Notes:
In this particular incarnation of the Glass Horizon, the ship's Engineering room with an adjacent “Cargo Distribution Center” (CDC) takes center stage. The two large rooms are connected by a two way conveyor network somewhat similar to Elongation's, except on a much grander scale. The map is littered with hints as to the fate of the Glass Horizon. There are several unintentional glitches that I cannot fix, so if you fall down a hole use the conveniently located teleporter to get out and be thankful you aren't dead. ;)

O hai, this map got finished! Looks really good; I think I'll dust off the part of my hard drive with H2V on it and play a few rounds.

I might install H2V for the second time to try this out.

Wow, this looks really nice.

A lot better than Bungie's Orbital, infact.

Too bad no one plays the game. This map is amazingly well made.

I can attest that it's a lot of fun even with just two people. The luggage gets jammed on the conveyor belts sometimes, and in my foolishly determined fashion I usually try to unjam them and get sucked down into the belt system. Which is fully functional and a giant loop, I might add. Long dark tunnels filled with moving luggage are bizarre fighting arenas. :P

Amazing map good job! By far the best h2v map out there. Meh I think some one should take on a project to fix some of the games code to make it more playable.

Dennis almost never updates the H2V side haha. Took him 2 months to get chillout and damnation up.

Those reactor cores look awesome. I'd love if you ported this to CE.
