I just saw a Billy Mays commercial on comedy central, and I think it may be a new one, its for this thing that you plug into any standard audio jack and you put it to an fm station and it plays the music into it.
I miss Billy Mays :'(

Jupiter Jack. And you weren't paying any attention to the commercial itself, were you? It's for phones, it plugs into a 1/16th jack and has a mic on it.

I wept throughout.

This commercial made me sad and happy at the same time to be honest.

I believe he recorded that commercial as part of his Discovery Channel show he had going on.

RIP Billy Mays, we all still miss you.

Am I the only one here who didn't get that worked up about it?
He was just a guy who sold stuff AND DISCOVERED HOW TO SPEAK IN CAPS LOCK ALL THE TIME. >_>

The jupiter jack commercial was recorded as part of "Pitchmen", the show he was part of. It was recorded a mere week prior to his death.

It's not that I don't care (though how many thousands die every day and you don't think twice about it), it's just that I don't find it's a big deal to me.

He was more than just a pitchman, he was a hero.

Heroes usualy save lives though and dont say that hands free kit saves lives because i can easily just plug in my supplied hands free kit that came with my relatively cheap phone...

No, the hands free device won't save your life. However Mighty Putty will fix, fill, and seal virtually anything fast, and make it last.
