map by ThePlague.

Released for weapon testing and weapon spawn locations.

Currently in beta state. Only slayer,team slayer, and ctf work. (team games work best)

Sometimes the ghost spawns where the banshee is, idk how to fix it.

Cliffs need some better unwrapping in areas, will be done for the final.

Credit to Nexus for middle design. And bungie to other stuff.Pics:

Post what you think needs to be fixed

e: what I think needs to be fixed:

change spawn points for slayer

either take out a banshee or add tanks.
that or delete the banshee fuel rod

add ladders and more ways to get up second second level

Doesn't look bad I guess. Lol. Environment seems rather bland. Needs some well placed rocks and trees and what not.

Yeah, hopefully i'll get way more then what this beta is. I already have a new walking area done (stole sidewinder's and retextured it)

This was for weapon spawns, which seemed good to me but I want other opinions.

Grey. All I see is grey. You need lighting to detail things and you need to make it so the sun creates large shadows across the map but not overpower it or make it too dark. There is a very fine balance of shadow and light that takes a while to get right.. A good example of nice lighting is damnation or gephyrophobia. A good map is only made better by lighting.

Call me crazy but I actually kind of like how dark the map is. It makes it look.. cold. Which fits the map.

I don't mind the dark, I'd just like there to be somecontrast lighting, the sun low in the sky, forruner flood lighting here and there, just something to add some visual contrast.

I'll try to add lighting, but I couldn't figure out which lights to use.

pretty dark, I can picture people using the flashlights and the sniper easily spotting them and taking them out...

@Ki11a, I fixed em in the new build I have. They look wayyyy better.

@inferno, yeah those are your snow thingies, and so is the ice.

@alwin, if you can get to the sniper, then you deserve to snipe people with flashlights.

I'm taking out the damn shees in the next build, making actual spawn points, adding ladders and shit, making the new area I made playable, and other stuff I can't think of atm.

It looks like you tried making something like sidewinder, and instead made something 10x more pointless. Try focusing on a design that has smaller more concentrated areas that seem to have a purpose other than wide open areas that look like they could be serving as farmland (note: you cant grow crops in snow). Not saying scrap this or anything, but what you have isn't good/pretty. It's just an oversized map with little to show for in the features department, and a lot of pointless wasted space.
