Well, I have a few apps on my phone that use my wifi to connect to my computer, including a VNC program, a wifi gamepad, and a wifi touch mouse.

But now none of them work and I cant access 192.168.1.1.

I have tried resetting my modem via the button and a matchstick.

Didn't work.

I googled my ass off and it didn't help, called Centurytel and they cant help, asked a guy and he didn't help, now I am resorting to making a thread.

Help.

I doubt that the second last number would change. You could try
192.168.1.2
192.168.1.3
192.168.1.4
etc.

or 192.168.0.1
192.168.0.2
192.168.0.3
etc.

I couldn't access mine on my computer when I used the settings. Had to use my Mom's computer that it was hooked in to.

Are you sure that 192.168.1.1 (http://compnetworking.about.com/od/workingwithipaddresses/f/getrouteripaddr.htm) is your router's IP address? You should be able to google in the name/model number of the router and find a manual or something that gives you the IP address of it.

If you still can't get to the router with that IP address, try unplugging it and plugging it back in. You could also try removing it from the network and directly connecting a computer to it.

Last thing - how are you using a "wifi" gamepad/mouse? I wasn't aware that they made those. Are you sure it's wifi and not something like Bluetooth or RF? If it's Bluetooth, sometimes there can be issues between wifi and Bluetooth. Normally what happens is the Bluetooth signals get messed up, but maybe its causing your wifi problems on your phone?

You can check your IP by going into Wifi settings and pressing that small little arrow on the wireless connection you're connected to.

ipconfig in CMD would have sufficed.
