was seriously contemplating cutting a whole in the side of my desk to show off my computer and what not, then i realized what a stupid idea that was :(

A friend and I are working on designing a touch screen LCD monitor design that will fit in any standard 5.25in bay. It will be a fully functioning computer monitor that you can use as a secondary display, but will mainly be for controlling media (drag your media player over to that screen, use the touch interface to control tunes) and PC operation.

I'll post it here when my engineering buddies make up an actual design and we get it patented. Then when we become millionaires because everyone will want one in their case I'll finally stop posting here. After I make a thread about how awesome I am.

Expect you're not suppose to post your patent details (on the fucking internet, of all things) unless you have a patent pending already :gonk:

He means that if you post the patent details before it's patented, you can't patent it because the details are already in the public domain.

fan controllers (if you enjoy silence at night, and not a booming wind tunnel). usb and assorted memory card reader with sound and video outs.

both are always nice to have.
