Sup fellas being an idiot i keep breaking my headset mics by yelling into them (singing)

Looking for a proper mic, ya know one ya hold in your hand! (either that or a really fucking good headset mic) so i can hopefully not sound like i'm talking through a tin can.
i also wanna use it from time to time for recording.

all suggestions welcome, i dont have a budget at this stage so i'll find whats awesome and work backwards to a compromise, therefore all suggestions welcome.
I'm thinking about u getting a decent sound card as well so we'll see how we're going.

I prefer to pay once and get something good rather then pay 10times for shit stuff so give me the most bitching mic's (or headsets) and soundcards you've got!

*ahem*
Flibiitittjibbppppooooooo, i'm callin u out.

Go to a used game store and buy a used mic for a Karaoke game. Make sure the mic is USB. I know it may sound like a budget option, but they are much better then you might think.

As for headsets, Sennhesier. You don't even fucking know. I can't stress enough how big of a mistake it is to buy anything else for that purpose. Freelancer go buy a Sennheiser headset and report back.

Sennhesier headsets are great, but since I can't afford those, I have a Creative X-Fi Fatal1ty Headset which actually works remarkably well. Headphone quality is fantastic with strong bass and directional (if you want to use it that way), and the microphone quality generally comes out very clear. Not sure how it handles screamingsinging though.

I know they're really good, they also cost 5x more than a good Logitech.

Bod, get a GOOD Logitech headset then.

I have:

Friend has:

They're both great.

uhh good logitech? And sennheiser's aren't too expensive (80-150 range)... You get what you pay for literally.

This (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826106158&cm_re=sennheiser-_-26-106-158-_-Product) $90 pair will run circles around your logitech's. Lets read some reviews shall we:

I have a Logitech head set I used for BF 2142 and those are OK but these..WOW!! The sound quality is at another level compared to those.
It sounds pure and great. Honestly, if you use one of those mediocre best buy mics or even the not so old Steelseries 3H, this blows it away.
I had heard it was good, but was surprised at how good it turned out to beYour logitech's may be ok, but the difference is like normal vagina and great vagina. I won't even get into how durable these things are, they have survived much qq raging on my part, and they will last you longer than most products. Also If you take your singing seriously at all, you can check out sennheiser's website and look at what they have. If I remember right, ducky shelled out for a really nice one (HIS SINGING IS BEAUTIFULL >:O).
