Well ok, but the house has an edge in virtually every other game in the casino. Even if you play blackjack with perfect strategy (sans card counting), they still have an edge I think (though it is small). The only way you have an edge in blackjack is if you count cards and are damn good at it. Poker is the only game you can realistically have an advantage in if you're good enough, since you're not playing against the house...and you don't really have to be very good to beat the terrible low limit players in casinos.

EDIT: I think there may be a small advantage possible in some types of video poker, too. There's really nothing else though.

If you want a game of chance with no skill involved, play snakes and ladders and save your money.

If you're going to play roulette, know this: you don't have to put all of your money on one number/color. throw it around to like four or five different places, it's more fun, more of a thrill, and better odds to win some cash. my rule of thumb is to place half of my current bet on a color, so if none of my other numbers make it, i still have a fifty fifty chance of a recoup. made some nice money that way.

Listen to Ganon.

If you want to actually have the possibly of winning money, instead of loosing it all, play blackjack.

Also, have a limit you set to and wont spent over it, otherwise your night could have big problems.

Black jack dealers are scary as shit. Their hands move so fast it will cause your head to catch fire.

Casinos use 6 or 8 decks for blackjack most of the time. That makes counting a little more difficult than it is playing at home with one deck.

I had a friend who was completely blacked out he was playing black jack. He had no idea what he was doing and couldn't add up the numbers but still managed to go up $130

You can make a lot of money at the roulette wheel but it can take a long time.

I'm not sure what you mean by this. Over the long term (to the point where variance becomes negligible), you will not win. The house has a guaranteed statistical advantage. The only way to make money from the game is to play until you win and then quit and never play again.

Bingo.

if they would loose money they'd never let you do it.
