Download 1.08 V2.1 (http://www.vivid-abstractions.net/downloads/Halo%20Solstice%20V2.1.rar)

This allows you to actively create and save camera destination points ingame, then run the camera through those points

I would really appreciate if you would visit the website (http://www.vivid-abstractions.net/). I rely on those Ad revenues and I think one click is one small price to pay.

It's still in the beta phase because I did not make it entirely secure e.g. clicking some buttons too many times.

Overall it has improved since V1 because now...

...you can save and load your camera paths
...fade with FoV (trust me it looks awesome)
...overall it's faster
...Windows 7 taskbar integration (wohoo!)
...it has a 5 second delay before it starts

V2.1 Updates:
...variable countdown
...sets camera from the beginning to the right position
...custom filetype filter
..."go to last point" button added
...removed Win7 Taskbar Progressbar support
...added tool tip information (hover with your mouse of textboxes)

I don't have a demo video right now but I can show you something soon to follow up.

If I'm understanding this correctly, this allows you to actively create and save camera destination points ingame, then run the camera through those points?

That's absolutely ingenious, This will be incredibly useful in my current video project. Thank you Pat. :]

I'm taking it you can do a wire frame of the map as well, from looking at that video?

It's a dev command.

"rasterizer_wireframe 1" :-3

I did not know that Microsoft Windows 7 FormExtension Wrappers wouldn't check for OS version...the old client crashed for non-Win7 users. I added the normal version without a Windows 7 style progress bar as well.

Just curious how are you doing the panorama? Grabbing the back buffer? Thought it was cool as hell

Somethings to improve on: a shorter countdown like 3 seconds would suffice. Having it set the position of the camera (before the countdown) to the start position to avoid that jump in the beginning if the camera isn't near the start. Other then those two things good work :).

How about letting people set the countdown themselves?

Yeah I will add those features. I'm also thinking about a smoother curve between the points since some people do not like the stiffness.

What I suggest, is when someone saves a point, you also save 2 more points that are just outside of the point (one for entry, and one for exit) that way you can ease into it.

no seriously if this works like I think it does it'll be just like Rypel Cam for UT, minus the demo playback

Your latest apps seem to require that CE be open before they will successfully launch... Could you please make it so we can open the application and then launch the game? Because as soon as I Alt+Tab to open the app I'm hit with text lag issues.

That was something I wanted to change a long time ago. I'll do it in the next build.
