my father owned one. excellent car. the one that he bought originally ran a racing circuit, and had bored out cylinders, which pumped up the horsepower. if i ever get the money, i'll buy one and do the same thing. shitty thing is, he'd still have it if four of the rods hadn't blown at the same time. custom rods D: impossible to find, and to expensive to make.

Tesla Roadster Sport
Price: $121k

http://www.teslamotors.com/learn_more/wallpaper_dl.php?f=wallpaper_5007_1600x1200

Judging by the fact that I'm going to be in about $50-60k of debt after college, this might be a bit more reasonable...

Tesla Model S
Price: $49,900
http://www.teslamotors.com/learn_more/wallpaper_dl.php?f=Tesla_Model_S_166_1600_1200

Even more likely:

Chevy Volt
Price: ~$40k, after gov't EV rebate: ~$32,500

[Awesome 67 GTO pic]

Yep, my dream car is a GTO my dad used to own as well. Nothing wrong with old school muscle!

Name: Pontiac GTO
Year: 1970
Driveline: RWD, accept no substitutes!
Engine: Pontiac 400ci V8, gasoline, naturally aspirated.
Price: I've seen used ones on EBay for $10,000, and restored ones as much as $300,000-ish. My dad sold his in the late seventies for less than a thousand, ffs!

http://ultimategto.com/1970/70_00002_3.jpg

Other info: Dad's was this colour, only it had a white vinyl roof, not black. He modified the engine to around 400bhp but sold it a few years after buying it. He walked into the dealership around the early seventies and asked to test drive this GTO he saw on the lot. He started it up and cranked the radio, and the station it was tuned to happened to be playing G.T.O. by Ronny and the Daytonas.

EDIT: Actually, the GTO is much more likely than another car that I'd really dream of owning.

Name: Cadillac Miller-Meteor ambulance
Year: 1959
Driveline: RWD, accept no substitutes!
Engine: I'd probably want to restore one of these and put nothing smaller than a Chev 454 V8 in it.
Price: Priceless.

http://www.tristatechapter.com/skivolocke1.jpg

Other info: Probably quite easy to figure out why I'd want this one.
