View Full Version : Odd ai problem...

Okay so no matter what I do I absolutely cannot get the ai to ally with the player via the default means of setting the ai to human team and the player to player team... what on earth is going on?

I've checked the units' bipeds, and they're all set to 'human'. I've tried everything I could short of rewriting my tagset... in guerilla the map is set to solo...

I'm seriously at a loss for words here :saddowns:

You are using the "ai_allegiance player human" script command right?

There is a command for it. (ai_allegiance <team> <team>)

That shouldn't be necessary. player and human should, by default, be allies.

Every time I make a little single player level for myself, that seems to NOT be the case. I keep forgetting that they aren't allied by default, and get shot up by them... but some times they do become allies and I get rather confused about what exactly is happening to make this possible.

I'm not sure what the problem is, they weren't shooting at you before you removed the allegiance. Were they supposed to be doing something?

Yeah I have a script that tells the ai to run a command list...

Script and ai fixed- guard at guard position.
