I ran low quality lightmaps in sapien and it looked fine. But sapien takes WAY longer than tool so I want to do the final lightmaps in tool.

Why is the bsp named 0?

Why is the bsp named 0?

BSP Index?

There listed by numbers. (switch_bsp 0) (switch_bsp 1) etc...

edit-

Also when I try and save lightmap in sapien this happens...
I type radiosity_save and it gives me a error...

edit 2-

:gonk:

It wanted the SBSP name not the bsp index. FML.

it gives that error after you portal a map

it divides it into clusters.
when you do that, it starts giving off messages that you've got no background sound or sound environment set up for them

such as humming sounds wind blowing in tunnels for interior parts, and wind and such and birds for outdoor areas.

it's not an actual ERROR, it's more of a message.
this message shouldnt affect anything at all.

but if it does in your case, just place sounds in the clusters, and you should be fine.
(really, just read what the message sais and fix it, it's rather self-explanatory)

no no no NO

this happened to me several times on 2 maps. The way I figured out how I got the error was that I renamed the jms something else and then I was running the lightmaps for the wrong bsp, and then in turn opening the wrong scenario file. And basically, the one I was running it for, didn't have a sky.

recently a friend of mine had the same exact error, and thats how I fixed it as well.

unless your saying this isn't just 1 bsp, it might be different.

Also what neuro said could be the problem as well.

e/ I think what I said was correct. If you look at your tool command its running "eggplant" but then again, it says "delta" in the same scenario folder after a few lines.
it also looks like your not running it so it does what bsp you want. this can be accomplished by doing "tool lightmaps levels\test\delta\[scenarioname] [bspname] 1 0.5"

Don't need to use the same settings, but thats what I usually use for high quality.

Would be better if you copied the debug text here so maybe we could help search for help and others can search in the future for reference.
