Not from h3:odst. Go remove thy shitty h2 odst from your maps now.

Reason why its in a folder called h3r is because of all the other tag folders such as h3 or halo3.

Credits:
Bungie - Model, bitmaps
Detox, Anthony (happy shadow?) (who ever the fuck helped in making this possible and a custom Alternation)

Nothing else put in this tag folder except the h3 odst and a cubemap :allears:

Note: I didn't use xtraction e3po did, I been doing this way before he released his app which is just the same research and "taken" from detox and the others, I saw no difference in the app I had to his. Same deal.

Nice release.

I always thought it would be cool to have supporting characters in MP, not AI bots, just players that are not as strong and have less shielding perhaps while they could only use certain weapons, they could bring back or locate the better weapons for the Spartans. Sure people would ask why, and I say because it would add extra dynamics to the gameplay along with an extra challenge.

I haven't converted the h3:odst models yet and this was semi ready, the shaders weren't final and I didn't want to mess around with it any more.

It's taken directly from Halo 3....the only thing wrong with the model is that it may be slightly smaller than it should be. I'm surprised you aren't yelling at him about "illegally extracting assets" from the game, you seem to enjoy doing that.

It is slightly smaller like you said. The emf importer isnt the best right now (the scale % is 10000.0) and the bones seemed to fit just fine when I moved it. It does look small compared to the h3 warthog thou... but it is almost the same height. I will mess with the scale some other time.

Nah, just too busy pressing the "Extract" button on the Halo 3 model extractor.

Then exporting the rig, adding the new bones, putting each bone in place, importing the bones back, manually do each bone .etc .etc. But shaders is far different then converting it...

As long he's contributing, cool. I'm not going to use them but I know others that probably would.

As for the ODST, it looks to small compared to the one from Halo 3 and Halo 2. Make it a little larger, try using the marine from halo 1 as a reference. If there the same size, I don't know then.

Also if the size was wrong in the first place, the fp arms I converted would have been wrong.

Huh, weird. The assault rifle looks kinda big in your picture, so I thought it might of been smaller. Oh well.

I was using halo 1's. I think it would be alot more different if I used the h3r ar.

What folders do I put where? This is kind of confusing. I've got the Halo 3 sniper rifle working, but I just can't make head or tails of where the ODST folders go so that it will open correctly in Sapien.

I didn't include the .biped I am guessing. Uhh go rip the marine.biped and replace the gbx model while in korman00.

E: wait I did include the .biped

EE: It's just drag and drop, open tags, and just drop it into the tags folder.

It still doesn't work. This is what I did:

Unzipped the file. Inside it was a folder called tags. Inside that I found a folder called characters, h3r, and vehicles. I put all 3 folders into my Halo CE tags folder. Then in Sapien I went to add the marine2.biped tag from the h3r folder to the scenario, but it gives me the "Contact Your Bungie Programmer" bullshit.

it's referencing tags that aren't there. he must not have realized they weren't stock or something

It shouldn't be missing anything. Post a debug or something other then the contact bungie.

Alright. I'll try again. The marine.biped was looking for Campaign Marine tags which I extracted from C10 and added using Guerrilla. Still a no go. I'll mess around and see what happens.

OH it's the blood effects, globals and such. I didn't include it since I didn't know where every single marine blood effect is and .etc so I left it to the people to rip the effects from hek+.
