Just wanted to get some feedback on my recent map release, check it out over on halomaps.

I played it by myself the other day. It looks really good, just kinda bland imo.

dunno how it plays, because nobody runs custom maps, but I really like your geometry, even though it's a bit pointy in some places.

Thanks, to all of the above, the map represents about a weekends worth of work, thus the somewhat boring design layout. Its was really more for me to get back into the swing of things after a long two semesters. Thnx for the feedback :)

The geometry looks nice, though, textures could of been much better however. I think if you had used stock textures it would of looked better. It looks really tiled at the moment with cmt's new textures and shaders.

Also if you had brightened up the holograph in the middle too would of been nice.

I agree with Higuy, the CMT textures really detract from it. The hologram would have been a really nice, distinctive centerpiece too if it was more visible and had a little more work put into it. You've got a lot of potential though. I can't speak from the gameplay side of things but I'd love to see you do more work like this.

Map is fun. Played it on LAN with 5 others today in Computer Engineering class. Map is kind of dark, but turning up the Gamma sort of fixes that. Has lots of edges, but I like the design and where you're going with this. Keep up the good work.

i liked the different textures and geometry...it reminded me of some kinda alien ship.....now if only i could find someone to play this map with :-)

Lol yeah Im still here.

Thanks all for your feedback Ive started working on something special so hopefully it will be ready soon to be abused.
