Hey guys im sure youve heard about the lag-tweak released by LT33999 to patch ur haloceded (haloce).

A lot of people have done it , but i cant seem to do it =(

ive tried patching and putting it in same directory as haloce but it still says "haloceded" cannot be found when its there . Is there a specific location it looks to . Any answers would be appreciated .

TYVM in advance

Normally these programs for Halo CE that say "cannot be found" is usually because the program is attempting to find your Halo CE directory via the registry. Did you ever move your HCE Directory to a new place, without reinstalling it?

Oh, this? http://rework3d.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=93&t=11930

Uh....the date on that is 2004. Not only does it not work, but there's been 3 patches since then. It won't patch because it's not the version it's looking for.

There probably isn't anything newer because I don't think this was ever proven to work. It's a limitation with the current netcode, and you can't make it any less laggy without redoing all the netcode from source.
