The team is happy to present the final release of the Third Generation maps. Work began over a year ago starting with Augur, so we could say a year in the making. So, after a year in the making we finally finished four maps: CMT_G3_Augur, CMT_G3_MouseTrap, CMT_G3_Ruins, CMT_G3_Vestigial. The maps host a variety of gameplay that would satisfy any players appetite. Whether it be vehicle carnage or run and gun mayhem.
We would also like to unveil the team's new personal site. This is where we can post news updates and host the builds of our maps. It even shows the status to our ingame server. Head over to our site and check it out: http://www.cmtmaps.net/main/category/general-news/
The maps will be hosted on the CMT Server later today. I will be switching the version back to 1.09. Until then enjoy playing with yourselves for the first time on the maps.

All of the maps are great, especially Vestigal gameplay wise and Mousetrap and Augur when it comes to looks. The gametypes on the CMT server need some polishing, though. I'd want to see a generation 4 Fragment, loved that map.

Doesn't look too bad. Maybe i'll boot up CE and run around, check it out. Good to see something come of everyone's efforts over the years.

Very nice- I'll take a look as soon as I have time. I agree with Snaf- great to see some releases come out of all the work.

it would be cool to play these...they look awesome
but everytime i play ce ,you cant get anyone to play on custom maps...its all role playing or zombies :-\
or stock halo maps....

I'm kind of not up to do date on any of this, but had the SPv2 mod ever been released?

No. They canceled on it and released the tags from it.

Well, they dumped a few year-old betas:

But the actual newest maps probably won't be released.
I'm really not going to say anything more than that for fear of starting an argument.
