View Full Version : HCE Melee Weapons Revamped[WIP]

I've been working on this project for a while. Most of it is just re-animating the energy sword and adding a katana (mfw my web browser thinks katana is misspelled). I'm also making it to where the primary attack for both weapons is just a slash, not a lunge, and that you can charge up to preform a lunge that is weaker than it was in the past (it's no longer a 1 hit kill). I'm also making it such that they don't have any animation conflicts, like all the flamethrower animations being replaced. I currently have two questions. First how do I go about changing the distance at which the reticule turns red? Secondly does anyone have a better lunging tag than the one Jahrain released, not saying that his tag doesn't work it would just be nice to have something that works 100% of the time rather than about 75%?

My thoughts exactly, that looks to big when scaled to the Master Chief. Keep in mind that the Chief is a 7ft super soldier wearing bulky armor, that Katana needs to be a quarter or even a third smaller imo.

The blade can stay long but the hilt needs to be thinner and such.

Thanks for the advice I'm actually working on a new model, that was just one I pulled off of halomaps (you can't see it but the blade is bent).
