Does anyone know how to make the dynamic mirror flag for shader environments work? Even if I check it nothing seems to happen.

You have recompile your BSP for it to work. The surface also has to be completely planar.

Also make sure you got plenty of portals around it.

I'm pretty sure that's the complete opposite of what he wants to do. In my experience that just creates visual errors.

Without portals it can cause problems for lower end computers. Obviously you don't want it directly over the dynamic mirror, but any rooms with it should be portaled off with exact portals or portals.

I don't think anyone here is playing on lower-end or "bad graphics" systems anymore. That was so last decade in relation to HPCE

You would be surprised. I'm one of them...

Manufacturer:
Acer
Processor:
Genuine Intel(R) CPU T2060 @ 1.60GHz (2 CPUs), ~1.6GHz
Memory:
2048MB RAM
Hard Drive:
160 GB
Video Card:
Mobile Intel(R) 945 Express Chipset Family

I think it's the main reason this game is still played, it works just about on any system.

Edit: Stuff like this happens on low end systems.

This is grotesquely annoying.

That's because of the Dynamic Mirror glitch on screen.
