Aye, they deserve our respect. So many people caring about "OMG, IT'S 11:11/11/11/11!!!!" that they've probably forgotten about Remembrance Day...

I dont know what you Americans do for the day, but we remember The Armistice day, this year was its 90th anniversary, meaning the 'ending' of World War 1.

At the 11th hour, on the 11th day on the 11th of the month we have a 2 minutes silence which is the exact time the Armistice was put into effect.

Yo motherfuckers, respect those who fell in the service of yo country. That's Memorial Day (honor those who have fallen).

Veterans Day is about honoring all those who have served whether in war or in peacetime, both dead (not necessarily killed in battle) or alive.

In the US that's memorial day. In Canada, Remembrance day is our all-in-one.

I got a free lunch at Olive Garden (incl. bread and salad) and a free sammich at Subway today :D

I heard of some people who were 'bar' hopping Applebeese and such. Ah, freeloaders.

Actually, the creator of Terminal Lance is a discharged Marine:

The character in the comic is Abe, a fictional marine who is the subject of all the TL comics. Uriarte was parodying the free dinner stuff. Stuff is actually quite hilarious, especially if you were in the Corps yourself.
