Christmas Shopping.

So Christmas is this weekend and I'm looking to get a special gift for my boyfriend. I wanted to get him something charming but I'm having trouble deciding what. I don't want to just buy him a video game, that's boring. (we both already have plenty.) I plan to take him out for a special dinner giving his gift to him at the end of the evening. For guitar, I would actually recommend a gift card, which sounds pathetic, but if it's for enough money its nice.I once had a hundred dollar one and it was great.

Other than that, it depends on his style of play. Bod makes a good point, but some amps sound terrible with pedals (mine always has).
