Wow.....
I think after I build my Vista machine, I'm going to have to upgrade from 2.5.

Geez, I hope I'll be able to see those four digit fps counters. I think I'll try it out on starcraft or halo when I get a G80/R600.

edit: Site liscenses for H2V anyone?

This thread reminds me of how abysmally inadequate my PC is. I'll just go sit in the corner and cry now, k.

Otherwise, awesome. I third that motion.

Agreed!

Heck, if we get 10 people to get in on it, we'd save 20 dollars each.

w00t. Now I can feel happy with myself that I get +999 frames in HL in a simple room at 320 x 160 (or whatever the pixallated res is).

It still hase the watermark doesnt it...That's for the trial. Plus if you read the update text that comes with Fraps when you download/update it, it says that it removed the watermarking.

Do you mean they removed the watermark from the trial? Im not going to buy the full version.I dont have any need to.I dont make movies yet.

Im planning on getting this, but when ya record, is the file size still gargantuan? I can record a video from l2 on Frap, about 15 minutes of footage, and take up 1.5 gig of my HDD.

I think its because he's said it twice now and your question is stupid. A simple 15 second search could have found your answer.

They removed it completley. Jesus.

Actually no they didnt... I was talking about the trial. You knew that right? Well i did a test just to make sure, and yes there was a watermark....:XD:

There was no watermark for me when I had the trial. You must have an older version.

Get the $40 non-trial. You can do so much more. You can save screenshots straight to jpeg or PNG, which is conventient and saves space. Also the fact that you can record for as long as you want is worth it. Sure, Filesize goes to hell (I record at 1680 x 1050 at 30 FPS xD), but if you regeularly clear out your unused videos you should be fine. You can also limit the res to half your current screen res, which lessens both the filesize and the FPS loss. If im recording something like a movie personally I switch to 640 x 480 or a general HD res within Halo so that it works nicely on things other then computers xD.
