View Full Version : Bah, my shaders won't ref (even with the shader collections)

I'm so sick of this. I tried making my own shader collections tag, that didn't work. I then added my shader to the existing shader collections tag, that doesn't work. I've changed the name and location many times, to no avail. What exactly am I doing wrong? I put what it said in the chm, my level name then the address.

hellfire scenarios\shaders\multi\hellfire

Yeah, I couldn't think of a name, and this is a test map.

Oh yeah, another thing. Why is my map so friggin steep and tall? It isn't what it looks like in 3ds max at all >_>.

Help = much appreciated and some +rep.

D'oh! Thank you so much for that last bit. I had read that post before, and I thought I was following it. I didn't know about adding the hellfire infront of my shader names.

+rep :D

Also, any ideas on why the bsp is so messed up?

Dont trust Sapien, it does weird things like downres textures/shaders etc

I got it in game too, it really is off scale. When I export the .ASS, it says something about node-scales and that it is only exporting the x-axis value.
