This guy MUST have a light pen. There's no way to exert that kind of control with a mouse of any kind.

Definitely a tablet probably with a mona lisa reference image placed on it, or perhaps a cintiq which make drawing with anything on a pc like drawing on paper. But the amazing part is not how well it looks, its that how he used the worst freaking art related tool ever bestowed upon man to draw it. Great video.
