I bought an oem 64bit vista. I currently have an emachines t3418 running 32bit xp and can run 64bit. I just need help with what I should do before I do the clean install. Should I create a partition for my drivers? Also I can't find any vista drivers for the emachines at emachines.com. someone help tell me what to do??

There are two options:

1. You can install vista on a newly created partition without formatting the XP partition and other partitions, so that you end up with a xp and vista dual boot.

2. You can format the whole HDD and do the vista install only.

I'm not sure which one you're up to.
