nice, but i don't like the way that his pointer finger pops out when he fires. it shouldn't do that.

They are similar to my USP anims.. only my reload animation is slower and he drops the gun.

I would say to make the melee animation a kick, but that might be too fancy, let alone impossible - I don't know. Anyway, awesome anims.

btw anims look great, though, with the reload, i think you should make the other hand pull back the top part of the gun or something, then again, im not thinking striaght cuz its 2 am yo

True, when you fire a gun, you're not supposed to wrap your finger around the trigger when you pull it back, you're supposed to pull it back with only the tip of your finger.
Nonethless, it looks great. :)

You use the slide release to do that.

It looks like the original pistol animations from a side angle, and the slide release wasn't implimented until the Halo 2 Magnum. Wait a minute...

It did, but you could hardly see the slide lock back and release.

It did, but you could hardly see the slide lock back and release.
Yeah, that's why for the Magnum animations, Bungie left them pretty much the same as the pistol animations except pushed them over toward the right side of the screen.

I'm really glad you did this, the old pistol firing animation looked kind of tacky the way he held it completely still, but I suppose it makes sense that the Chief could hold it still like that. Are you going to fix the timing on the melee now?

On the ready animation, at the end you moved it like 1 unit too far to the right before it goes to the constant frame (i forget the name for them >.<), and it gives me a headache :(

Although, i'm sure it'd be setting it up for the idle animation - GJ!
