lol, i really mean rules, like rules for the game, not something else, so which rules do u like more?

1. Rules:
OLD C.S. 2 killer`s edition(WTH? I think its like 1.5 or something older)
Start money 16000
Gravity from 300-100
No bombs
No Snipers
Map "Rats" all the time

or

2. Rules:
NEW Counter Strike Source
Start Money 800
Gravity Normal
Bombs allowed
Snipers allowed
Changing the map on each round(including "rats" maybe)

Which one would u rather play?:)

When did Rule #1 ever happen? I mean on serious servers.. Those look like setups for "fun" servers.

2nd one wins, why fuck with gravity? why no snipes, why start off so you can buy any guns? kind of eliminates the idea of earning your guns....

Speaking of buying guns, did VALVe do away with that online "marketplace" idea where the prices of weapons are dynamic?

Atty

No, it's optional, and most servers don't use it. It's still there though, for the idiots who want to use it.

Thank the powers that be, that system was nuisance. All of the decent weapons cost an arm and a leg.

Counter-Strike Source all the way. I'm not sure why you would want to use the other one. Day of Defeat Source on the dod_omaha v32 map is awesome when playing as Americans. I made quite a few new friends today on that server. I have one guest pass for the game that i never used. If anyone wants it PM me.

Most of my school plays CS 1.6 because they all have Geforce 2s D=.

Me and like 7 other people out of 400 are the only ones with computers decent enough to play CS:S. epic lulz.

Actually, it broke (http://steampowered.com/stats/csmarket/), so nobody uses it. http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c251/CN3089/Emoticons/emot-laugh.gif

I use the awp all the time, but I hate it when people use it against me D:

It's basically a 1 shot kill, I also like using the scout. I accidentally voted Rule-1, I like it except the gravity >_>. And Bots suck, imo.

I use the AK-47 (which is an AK-74S on my computer) almost exclusively. All you have to do is tap your mouse at about 2.5 rounds per minute and every single shot hits on-target.

um anything u would like to add to add or remove from these rules? ey...maybe u could tell yours? And no, i don`t play cs 1.6 or older, i just asked this to prove to some people what rules are better, thoe are like noobs...that play very good lol, but they are coward so when i play with them, gravity has to be to 200 so they don`t damage when they fall of the cliffs, assholes...:D

1. $800 Starting funds.
2. No bots.
3. Map vote, including map time extensions.
4. 10 or more rounds per map.
5. Force even teams.

That's all I have.

2.5 rounds per second...lol, my bad.

Though if you are good, one shot every 30 seconds or so should be sufficient with the AK (headshots).

CSS is only fun with mates IRL (internet people are fags) :saddowns:

CS:S is only fun with semi-CAL rules. That and Gun Game, only way to play CS:S.

CS:S doesnt require high specs, at least not high graphics specs. I use a Radeon X1950PRO, but before I got that, my sister plays with her own Steam account so i gave her my old X1600PRO. The X1600PRO runs CS:S on the highest settings possible at 1280x1024 and full HDR, AA, and has absolutely no slowdowns except for the occasional online lag.

My FX5500 ran CSS at 1600x1200 everything high, full AA - 45-20 fps.

My 6200 could probably do double that.

I now have a x1650 and it probably could do about 1248x that.

That's Half Life 2 for me, but CSS lags like HELL if I try that. <_<

WTF? Other way around for me. If I try to pull that off in Half-Life 2: Episode One it chugs like crazy, I had to lower the resolution to 1024x768 but the game still looks extremely good.
