Hey, I'm looking to prototype a multiplayer mod's weapon balance in Gmod with Lua. Does anyone already know it? It'd be really great if I could have a mentor or helper to get me started.

Is it what I think it is?

I know a few people on FP, I could ask around for you...

i used to code Lua for the PSP. i think it is a very weak language but is the easyest.

Errm i dont really know much about pc lua programming but check at these sites

I've been looking at http://www.garrysmod.com/wiki/?title=Lua and I really appreciate tools like guerilla. Looking through a tag to find a field to work with is a whole lot easier for new people to than learning a new language. At least lua is looking to be simple to pick up.

With that cat rawr-ing at you, there might be a few distractions.. But other than that I've heard Lua is bretty easy :)

it is extreamly simple but it has its limits, but then again if you need lua to code for an app(like commands in lua) it should be fine but programming for a game you will figure out that it is very limited.
