I'm having a bit O trouble w/ my particals. I'm trying to get a particle to fly out like in h3 when a frag explodes how a flame chunk flies out. I can't seem to get it to work. It's there its just LOLHEUG or ROFLSMALL when it shows. I'm going to tweek it so its the right size. But, anyways.

There's WTFBLACK around my partical. I dunno why? Any help? I have to run to the bus so I'll have to be back later. Also, It just stays there and dissapears, how do I get it to actually fly out? Do I have to assign it a different particle physics? Anything other ideas? Thanks for all the help, and even if you can't help, thanks.

a particle is just a particle. the image.

youll need to adjust the movment, scale, fading, rotation etc all of that in the particle SYSTEM.

K. It's black because I can see the particle just fine, but there is a black box as the canvas of the particle. Help?

Did. What does the alpha channel need to look like. I made it completley white so I think it would alpha out anything that's black.

Use the add blend mode in your particle tag as opposed to alpha blend.

k, you don't have a clue how alpha's work. Black=transparent, white=opaque. I was gonna suggest doing what CAD said but couldn't remember where you set that. Do what he said.

an explosion effect (like a dust cloud) or some such thing (muzzle flash, haze from behind a hog, smoke, fire etc).

Did you seriously think that lights doesn't know what a particle is? He asked what a partical is, as in pointing out that FR can't spell.
