when your buying xbox live at ebgames do you get the xbox360 live or xbox live for H2V?

it's the same thing, I believe.

that is, I bought an XBL Gold account a few years ago for my old black xbox, and now I use that account for my 360 and for H2V.

You might want to do a little research tho. It's not hard to spend an extra half hour on google when buying something and in the long run it can save you a lot of money.

Of course the accounts for GFWL and the console Xbox Live are compatible with each other. That's the whole POINT of GFWL.
