So yeah. I got $185 and a $50 gift card for Fry's electronics.

If I shop at fry's, that's a total of $235...

Any ideas on what I should spend it on? My computer's specs are in my profile.

That's funny, I was at Fry's today to pick up a computer and a few people were smoking crack by the wall. So yes....crack.

A computer store.

Aussies don't have Fry's, apparently.
Just bought myself a Battlefield 2 game there earlier, actually.

I would get a new cpu. a new gpu is out the question with the psu that comes standard in an xps400 (i think its under 500watts). Dell sizes their included psu's by how much power the computer could possibly use, and that peak that they designed for probably includes a 7800gtx. So you would have to chalk 100-150$ for a new psu if you got better graphics.

What chipset you using? I doubt you know, dell doesn't include that stuff with orders .(

I think the best choic ewould to get a new motherboard, and psu. something backwards compatible with everything u own now, but something that would allow you to upgrade your cpu and gpu later. you have enough ram as it is.

Go buy a couple of new games you haven't already played.

Or spend it on a portable console if you don't already have one ^^

If you're going to Frys the only things I would reccomend that you purchase are CPU/Motherboard combos, Ram, keyboards, mice etc. NEVER buy a GPU there. They charge around $50 to $100 extra in some cases unless you are buying something like an Nvidia 4, 5 or low end 6 series card (aka old).

Fry's is like a UFO/Monster attacking a city combined with little kids throwing away their money on a huge line of candy dispensers. Other than that, the service is great and it looks neat.
