The computer is LOST

A few days ago I was talking to conscars on msn, and I mentioned about some of my early apps in flash, one of them being the counter from lost. Sadly enough I had lost it in a hdd format, so I decided to make it again.

The app does not fully resemble the looks of the counter, but it functions almost perfectly like it. (the sounds are from the Internet) With a little suprise when the time runs out. (forced computer shutdown)

To speed up the process, click in between the minutes and the seconds. (your cursor will change in a hand there) One click sets it to 4 minutes, a second click sets it to 1 minute and a third click sets it to 10 seconds, this can only be done once if you start from the 108 minutes.

The app has the sound effects of the timer, and will shut down your computer when the time has ran out. (any bugs pm or mail me and I will try to fix them). With the autoboot function installed (see installer notes during installation or view http://www.beeles-place.be/halo2mppics/nr/L6.JPG) the app will start with windows. (shortcut placed in the startup folder).

The timer can only be closed by pressing alt+F4 or going to task manager and end it there.

This program has the purpose of a joke, do not abuse it to annoy people (or just a little then).

known bugs: error when shutdown scripts are executed in windows vista/XP/2000 because of the windows 98/95 script and the other way around.

Is there any way to run it without having to install it? Would be so much more fun :p

If you don't want to install it, you can download the underneath zip file.
The zip file includes: the app, the shutdown scripts, the read me, and the autoboot installer. To use it, just unzip the folder to a location you know, open that folder en execute lost_counter.exe

All the versions have been updated, some critical bugs have been fixed:


The timer would stop at 45 minutes.
The error message on windows 98 is gone.You can use the links that are already posted or you can use the ones below:
