This map is a remake and update of my prior "Augury" map. This version was designed to alleviate problems in the original layout. This map was going to be a CMT map, but no such luck. I'm releasing it now so that it gets released at all, since the CMT version has been cancelled. It's fully playable, but not polished.

Special Thanks:
Tiamat for tags used in his ncyborg
CtrAltDestroy for the weapon backpack tags
Lightning and H2CE for teleporters and flag bases
Wave of Lag for making me learn how to UV unwrap
baturkin17 of halonews.org and Phil of modhalo.net for hosting
Kyle and Stormwing for some ideas I wasn't able to implement in the original
CMT for testing, and for their work on the CMT version
The beta testers for the first version (sorry, I forgot your names after two years!)

Sure, it's not the most exciting thing, but it's not like CMT will ever release it. :(

Looks decent except for the cliffs. To flat. (but you did say it was unpolished, so n/m)

Since this thread is the 'active' one, I'm going to post here. I am honestly not impressed by either of these maps, but that is perfectly fine. You said that they were canceled CMT maps, and I can understand why, and I can also understand why you are releasing them. They are by no means 'bad' maps, just nothing out of the ordinary. They aren't up to par with your more recent works (Beryl, Casualty Isle, Delta Ruined, Fragment, and even twist) in both layout and visual detail, but, hell, two more acceptable maps for my folder. By the way, are you still mapping for HCE or any other games? If not, do you have any more old maps that you'd like to hand off to trusted and skilled members of the community to finish?

Basically the whole point in creating them was in order to get CMT some more multiplayer maps without much hassle, which is why both of these maps are rather bland as simply classic versions. The draw of these maps was supposed to be the CMT content in a competent, adequate map, but obviously the maps aren't much without them.

I can't play online due to connection issues at college, so it's not like I can even play any of my newer maps. I'd just rather have them out on the internet than forgotten on my harddrive. I'd like to get something out of the time and effort I put into the maps.

If I've learned anything, it's impossible to rely on anyone else to finish maps.

Doesn't mean it's not valid criticism. I said it was unpolished as an explanation, not as an excuse from criticism.

I never played the other one, but an improvement is awesome.

Downloading now, and +rep.
