My raster class recently had a project that deal a lot with filters to help show us how using different filters together can give different results. We made a lot of different pieces, but only two of them were pushed to a half-way presentable level. With that we were supposed to take two pictures, use specific directions on using filters to get a certain look, use text to turn it into a comic-like thing, and do whatever it else to make it a complete work. For the limitations of time and assignment criteria, I'm rather happy with them. The first one is called "Kindergarten Turkey" and the second "Game Developer." You might see odd lines and discolorations here and there. Dont worry about those, they're just artifacts from downscaling the image to such a low resolution and converting it from CMYK to RGB. And yes, I'm aware at the misspelling of names at the bottom. I hadn't talked to those people about using their names in my work, so I changed it around a wee bit.

I like the concept, so I think I might spend some more time on these over the summer and work on it enough to where I can get them to be portfolio worthy. >_>, I think I might actually make some of that Game Developer comic. Kindergarten Turkey is definitely making it into a video game next semester.
