[21:22] Rentafence And on the first day, Zeph and Innergoat gave Rossmum the rep
[21:22] Rentafence And he saw it was something to be used only for good
[21:22] Rentafence Thus, with a quick political joke about Murica
[21:22] Rentafence Rep was spread to me with the message of responsibility
[21:22] Rentafence And thus Tyrant did spread the rep
[21:22] Rentafence And in the following days it was spread some more
[21:22] Rentafence Until today, a day when all good men have rep

INSANEdrive, a member of the forum, made a post this morning informing us of a discussion with Corrinne Yu, Principal Engine Programmer for the Halo team at Microsoft, and Technical Lead of Microsoft Game Studios. She is asking the members of this community to show off everything that has been accomplished in the past 7 years. It really means a lot, so if you can, please take some time to show off or explain the best we have to offer. Don't wait too long, however. You have until next Sunday
Crytek is releasing (in August) CryEngine 3 in a similar fashion to Unreal Development Kit... except that apparently they're also allowing C++ code access. I'm really liking the Crytek/Epic war that's going on. Only makes it better for Indie developers for the PC.
I just turned the forums on after upgrading to vB 4.1.3 (from 4.0.2) and spending several hours fixing things. There are still some issues, but the forum seems to be functional so I'm turning it back on. Please report any issues in this thread. I will continue to fix things up throughout the week. Thanks!
Let me start by saying that I am committed to keeping this site up and running.
That being said, the money from donations coming in is no longer enough to support the Virtual Private Server plan we are currently on. Too much is starting to come out of my own pocket for it to be worth paying for. However, I am considering downgrading the plan for this website to the shared hosting plan which we were on several years ago. This would cost less money, but it means the site would probably be a bit more sluggish. This would probably take place within the next week. (It is possible that upgrading to the newest version of vBulletin could introduce some speedups, so I am considering this as well, but this would almost certainly mean losing our custom theme.)
I greatly appreciate everyone who has made a donation to this site, and most recently the handful of people who have donated since the new year: TeeKup, BobtheGreatII, Llama Juice, and Phobias.
Please refer to the short donations FAQ for anyone who would like to make a contribution. Every donation helps!
Yeah, but at least it's up to Activision to develop any PC ports. And they have a track record of not hating PC. And the game/engine seems to not entirely be entirely designed with "console" in mind...
