I just turned the forums on after upgrading to vB 4.1.3 (from 4.0.2) and spending several hours fixing things. There are still some issues, but the forum seems to be functional so I'm turning it back on. Please report any issues in this thread. I will continue to fix things up throughout the week. Thanks!

Let me start by saying that I am committed to keeping this site up and running.

That being said, the money from donations coming in is no longer enough to support the Virtual Private Server plan we are currently on. Too much is starting to come out of my own pocket for it to be worth paying for. However, I am considering downgrading the plan for this website to the shared hosting plan which we were on several years ago. This would cost less money, but it means the site would probably be a bit more sluggish. This would probably take place within the next week. (It is possible that upgrading to the newest version of vBulletin could introduce some speedups, so I am considering this as well, but this would almost certainly mean losing our custom theme.)

It is also greatly supported by all of you, who have made very generous contributions in the past, so that I do not have to dig too deeply into my own pocket. At this time the PayPal account which pays for the site has once again dried up.

Today we have upgraded our site to the vBulletin 4.0 suite. There have been a number of changes, and as such, not everything is perfectly polished yet. The upgrade required extensive database changes, so I took the old site offline to prevent database inconsistencies, lost posts, etc. However, in order to keep the site from being down for several days, I am once again opening it up to the public. We are still working hard and will be making many modifications during the next few days. In the meantime, please explore and become familiar with the new site, and post any issues you are having here.

Right now we are using the default theme while we are still sorting out any issues, so please excuse the look.
