Not even remotely the same as too much hydration in the blood stream which dilutes the concentration of haemoglobin.
Blood becomes too thin and the heart finds itself having to pump more just to ensure the body has the same amount of minerals being transferred.
The Kidneys do have a limit on just how much blood they can process and when under too much strain they will fail.
