Seriously, mate, take a step back and take a look at what's happening. You can't let yourself be consumed by half-baked theories, and you're pushing your friends away just because they don't believe them too. Bring the old Dane back.

Dane, mate, Bodie's worried and so am I. You're letting this conspiracy stuff take over. It's common knowledge that polies are lying cunts and nothing is as it seems, but there's a point where it's just drifting off into the realms of fantasy and that's where it gets unnerving. You clearly believe this stuff and you seem genuinely upset that Bodie's questioning it, but honestly mate, you're wrapping yourself up in it and eventually it's going to start forcing people away. I may not know you as well as Bodie but for as long as I have known you, you've been a great mate and always someone I could talk to. You were never afraid to speak your mind, but you were sensible and I'd be perfectly happy to chat to you for hours. All this, though... you seem really detached and you won't hear a word against it, you used to be fine with discussing things with someone who had a different point of view.

Urgh, why do people insist on learning, and not discovering. I never did no tutorials, never did anything for photoshop. Bodypaint,l figured it out by myself, same as mudbox. Max I had some tips from Snaf and that was it.

People who lack the initiative to pursue their dream, based on the lack of OMG TUTORIALS OMG never really had the dream to begin with. They wanted to be popular in a gaming community that thrives on modders being the koolkids.

Envelope yourself in your work, quit trying to emulate and imitate others.

There's nothing wrong with seeking information, but to base a love of something based on the abundance or the lack of tools or assets is pure fucking stupid. You love it enough, and you'll figure it out or find a way, and because you did that all by yourself, you appreciate it more. See, tutorials teach the method, but they don't teach the uncontentious thinking that goes hand in hand with it.

You should record your self end to end texuring an asset instead of tileable textures. I'd really love to see your workflow on that and would definitely help me improve and hopefully lots of others.
