Re: Dual Titan Z Card released

AMD is alleging that, because it's an NVIDIA GameWorks game, that it is neutered for their cards. NVIDIA, of course, has made some counter-arguments -- like devs get source code access upon request...

Btw, they never fixed the editor such that the tutorial map was physically possible to make, did they?

Steam has done things to scan what's on your computer, too. Specifically, Valve Anti-Cheat (VAC) did.

Also, speaking of Valve and Oculus, Michael Abrash is now working at Oculus. I have yet to see...

Re: Russia prepares to attack Ukraine

Actually, that's not similar at all.

A much better example is Georgia v. Russia and South Ossetia.

And then you have the leader of Crimea, an autonomous republic, asking Russia for help (not to mention Crimea is quite pro-Russia and is mostly composed of ethnic Russians). Ukraine is claiming that...

    Re: Perpetual Motion Engine

This is really not the stage to be concerned about performance. The advantage is flexibility. If I gain any performance (chances are) it will be through skipping irrelevant steps, choosing a more...

Yep. It is almost entirely Javascript. Think of it this way... imagine a software rendering engine programmed in Javascript.

However, in Javascript, you will come across places like this:

Yeah, Artillery Games is pretty cool but they're not the only ones doing this stuff (they're an early adopter, for sure, though).
