Well, I havent bothered to touch it, so its at 3, but I'm probably going to ramp it up a bit so I can use the tip of my thumb to control it rather than middle/tip. I'm not used to controller aiming =\ mouse + keyboard guy.
Oh and do you use the default button layout?

Can't control anything past 7 very well however anything below is too slow for me.

Also I use boxer layout. The left trigger is for melee, B button becomes the grenade button. I like that setup way better since I rarely spam grenades.
I use 3, the default, and I'm happy with it. I might bring it up by one or two, just to see if I can get better with those.

9. I'm a sensetive motherfucker. If I try doing stuff like 3 or 5, it just isn't quick enough to beat others to the punch. And by punch... I mean shooting them in the face.

9. Or 8. I use 8 when playing swords.
I use 5 as it's usually much easier for me to BR people, anything higher and it's a bit tougher for me.
Usually 9, but 10 if I'm feeling really jumpy
