On an unrelated note: Wow, cracked hce 1.00 has 500+ players at the moment. Sure they're all pirates and there's like one or two dedicated servers, but I wish 1.08ce had those kinds of numbers daily. =(

Excuse my bumpage, but I cannot get this to work properly. I uninstalled CE, reinstalled 1.00, updated it to 1.07, and then downloaded the modified Strings.dll on this page.

When I replace the Strings.dll file, it messes up CE. It still runs, but not right. It acts like I have a super-low quality video card, and parts of the menu are messed up. Have a look:

Terrible graphics

Severly limited video options

If I revert the Strings.dll back to the original, everything works fine.

Any help would be appreciated.

Version changer has some bugs. Sometimes it messes up and sets it to the lowest quality video settings. Normally restarting Halo CE fixes it. That's the only reason I got rid of it and decided 1.07 apps wasn't worth the problems.

I've tried to run it at least 20 times now. The same thing happens every time.

I only had the problem every once and awhile. Don't know why your's is bugging out.
