My hair is getting long, and everyone keeps saying that sometimes my hair looks like a mullet, and it's starting to make me feel

I want short hair, but not basic. Probably something along the lines of Punk/scene/not homo brofag hair.

An example would be like this:

If you don't know who that is, it's Mitchell Davis from LiveLavaLive on Youtube. I like his haircut because it's short, but unique.

My friend has a fauxhawk, so that's out of the question.

Thing is I need it short too, because of my racing. Long hair is a bitch when you're wearing a helmet while sweating thanks to over 100 F weather.

I get my hair cut like sykes but that's because I'm a faggot. But seeing as your hair is straight as a fucking board, there's not much you can go for. Just be sure to tell them to razor cut dat shit.
