Revelations and The Pit skies

Merry Christmas everyone
(ok, its not quite christmas here yet but meh)

I'm releasing both of these skies today, available for download separately. They should be problem free, and if nobody finds any major problems then I'll mirror them at halomaps. In case you're wondering, the Revelations readme tells you how to remove the waterfall from the sky if it's causing problems in your map. If you want source files, just contact me. Know, however, that the Revelations max scene is borked somehow and wont export the waterfall correctly.

Also, I'm currently working on a sky tutorial that should be done early this new year. The tutorial will be very in-depth and cover a wide range of topics and advanced questions people may have about skies. If you want me to look into something, let me know and I'll include it in the tutorial.

Remember, this sky was intended to be used in Pengy's map where the hangar blocks out most of the sky. If the tall brown hills next to the map are a problem for you, just ask for the source files and I can send those to you for modification.

I just started getting deeper into skys (in H2V) myself, not sure if I can import a new sky render_model yet (using the same technique as the weapons) but the bitmaps are good to add to my tags.

The closest I got to custom skies in h2v was a scenery model that was much larger than the level:
