    3ds max problem

Yeah I have a problem with 3ds max 8 in W7. I'm using the open GL view port plugins and unless I move the camera in the Top, Left and Front view ports they do not refresh. I can make changes in all 3 of those view ports but they do not refresh and show those changes unless I pan the camera or zoom.

So yeah what the hell is up with that? It's rather annoying to work with.

Since you never said anything about this in your opening post, I ask this:

Why are you using OpenGL instead of DirectX? Are you having issues with DirectX?

Direct X (in the past) has had problems with rendering 2 sided. Which is necessary for me because I use weird techniques to model shit.

    edit-

And software render is slower than the HL2:EP3 development team.

Haven't you had issues like this before? Just look in previous threads you've made perhaps?

Quake was a game where a guy jumped over your head at 30mph, spun, put 3 rockets in your grill and landed without slowing down and no one called "aim bot!" at it."

That's not the problem. It's a W7 or ATI Graphics problem.

Mine had the same problem... it pised me off so much that I just uninstalled Max. I have a nVidia 250gts and Win7 Ultimate so I don't think it's just an ATi problem

Maybe its a W7 thing. I'm guessing the OpenGL drivers used in W7 don't work the same way as the ones in XP so Max gets all HURR DURRR. Anyways I'm using direct X now.
