Home Premium and Halo 2 Vista

Why is it everytime Halo 2 Vista opens for me, my Aero Glass is turned off?

Your graphics card is unable to support both environments.

Mine is able to support both Halo 2 and the rest of the desktop, but when I load 3ds max. My aero is turned off automatically.

Ok, won't bother me much since I'll be playing instead of using my computer. Anyway, what does Gamma mean? Didn't feel like it was worthy of a new topic.

Gamma is a type of color incrementation, or decrementation.

Basically the higher, the more white added.

The lower, the less white/more black added. It's to adjust with really dark/bright monitors.

As for when your running 3DS Max (Well, at least in Max 8) and Aero turning off, it's because Max 8 is incompatible with Aero, not that it takes up to many resources.

Well, I was watching the video tutorial for "Halo 3 like" bump maps, and madworkz's aero theme stays active.

yeah funny thing that. before you see viewports and that in max. it turns it off. it isn't anything to worry about. its just a gui. if it really bothers you then you have problems
