    Ground Texturing in Photoshop?

I've been starting to get into making maps with HEK, so I've been looking at tutorials. One of the tutorials on TheGhost's page shows how to create ground textures in Paint Shop Pro. There's a step where you need to create an alpha map. How would you do that in Photoshop? Is it even possible to do it in Photoshop?

Adobe Photoshop 7-CS3 are the same thing, with UI tweeks and some fancy new filters. Pick One.

Also If your speak of Warez you might get a spanking.

Try to make your ground map a bit more detailed than what most people do. Most people just have flat green with lttle brown lines and it looks kinda fail. To me anyway.

Yes, use multiple shades and then use some burn and dodge on it. Then try to add a bit of detail on it. Make it fancy
